About
This outdoor integrative workshop aims to connect children and their parents (or other significant mentors). Participants will be invited to make a recipient after being guided through both nature and interpersonal connecting exercises. Inspired by creative flow, the adults and little ones will be instructed to unite to facon a piece of pottery together that will symbolically represent an intention for the family.
The main techniques applied in this workshop include principles inspired by Coyote Mentorship, Guided Discovery and an anthropological approach for creating material culture.
Participants are invited to bring personal objects to simply accompany the process or to use for pressing into their piece.
Pieces will then be fired and glazed at the Rozynski Art Centre.
Bilingual mediator: Krista Liberio
For parents and kids ages 4-10
The workshop will take place rain or shine.
