About
During this two-day workshop, you will develop new skills, meet fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy a dynamic and friendly working atmosphere.
Offered in small groups (maximum 10 people), this course allows you to learn at your own pace and receive personalized advice.
At the end of the workshop, each participant will be able to fire their pieces and take them home. Firing and glazing will be carried out by the CAR team within three weeks of the end of the course. The cost of the workshop includes one bag of clay per participant as well as firing and glazing of the pieces.
Course outline
Saturday
Morning: Introduction to tools and learning the basics of throwing (kneading, centering, building).
Afternoon: Throwing simple shapes (cylinder, bowl, cup).
Sunday
Morning: Continuing throwing (hoping that the pieces will be dry by the end of the day).
Afternoon: Trimming.
