Wheel Throwing improvement - 2 days, September 6-7

During this two-day workshop, you will develop new skills, meet other passionate individuals, and enjoy a positive and energetic work environment. When the weather is favorable, the course takes place outdoors under the pavilion; otherwise, it is held in our bright studio. Offered in a small group of up to 10 people, this course allows everyone to progress at their own pace and receive personalized advice.

At the end of the course, each participant will have the opportunity to fire their pieces and take them home. Firing and glazing will be handled by the CAR team within three weeks after the course. The workshop fee includes one bag of clay per participant as well as the firing and glazing of your pieces.

Course Schedule

🔹 Saturday: In the morning, review of basic concepts and practice of a few more complex shapes; in the afternoon, wheel throwing (flared form, tall form, throwing on a bat).

🔹 Sunday: In the morning, throwing pieces that do not require trimming and beginning trimming; in the afternoon, continuing trimming and attaching handles and other openwork elements.
