Texture Application

Instructor: Natanya Nerenberg
Natanya Nerenberg is a ceramic artist and teacher based in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University (2003). Natanya creates delicate, hand-formed porcelain pieces that explore the intersection of function, texture, and quiet beauty.
Drawing on traditional techniques such as slab building, pinching, and hand modeling, her minimalist forms evoke a sense of calm and refinement. In addition to her studio practice, Natanya shares her expertise through classes and community workshops, fostering a thoughtful and meditative connection with clay.
Her work has been exhibited throughout Quebec, including at the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, and featured at craft events such as 1001 Pots. Through her careful attention to form and surface, she invites viewers to rediscover everyday objects as sites of artistic expression.
