Professeur Natanya Nerenberg
Natanya Nerenberg is a ceramic artist and educator based in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from Concordia University (2003). Natanya creates delicate, hand-built porcelain pieces that explore the intersection of function, texture, and quiet beauty. Drawing on traditional techniques such as slab building, pinching, and modeling, her minimalist forms convey a sense of calm and refinement. In addition to her studio practice, Natanya shares her expertise through classes and community workshops, fostering a sensitive and meditative relationship with clay. Her work has been exhibited throughout Quebec, notably at the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, and featured at craft events such as 1001 Pots. Through her careful attention to form and surface, she invites viewers to rediscover everyday objects as sites of artistic expression.
