Professor Natanya Nerenberg
Natanya Nerenberg is a ceramic artist and teacher based in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. A 2003 graduate of Concordia University with a degree in visual arts, Natanya creates delicate, hand-crafted porcelain pieces that explore the intersection of function, texture, and quiet beauty. Drawing on traditional techniques such as slab construction, pinching, and modeling, her minimalist forms exude a sense of calm and refinement. In addition to her studio practice, Natanya shares her expertise through community classes and workshops, fostering a sensitive and meditative connection with clay. Her work has been exhibited throughout Quebec, notably at the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, and featured at craft events such as 1001 Pots. Through her careful attention to form and surface, she invites us to rediscover everyday objects as a place for artistic expression.
