Rebecca Munce

Updated: Jul 15

A warm thank you to the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, whose support made this residency possible.

Artist Rebecca Munce will begin an eight-week residency at the Rozynski Art Center in January 2022.

Her research and creative project will blend her two mediums of choice, drawing and ceramics. The project aims to create a series of ceramic pieces imitating framed drawings that reflect Italian Renaissance Majolica and 17th century Baroque framing techniques, while maintaining the whimsical and naïve treatment of the materials in his art practice.

The fruits of her residency will be shown in an exhibition entitled Midnight Maps at DRAC from March 19 to May 22, 2022.
